Calcined Kaolin are produced from highly refined kaolin through grind, calcination and clasification. It has high purity and the quality is stabled. It offers superfine particle and with excellent anti-settling property;It can easily disperse in water based systems;It is inert to most acids and alkaline at Ambient temperature and offers good anit-corrosive capabilities. 

Kaolin is a mixture of inorganic nonmetal, calcined kaolin is calcined kaolin in sintering furnance to a certain temperature and time, the physical and chemical properties which has a certain change, in order to meet certain requirments.

Compared with the non  calcined kaolin and calcined kaolin, calcined kaolin with reduced water content, silica and alumina content incresed three, the activity increases, changes in the structure, the particle size is small and uniform, compared with non calcined kaolin filled NR rubber, culcanized low temperature characteristic curve of calcined kaolin filled NR compund consistent.

Applications

 

 1.As extension agent of titanium dioxide, calcined kaolin is applied in such fields as water-based paint, paint, putty, and sealant. On one hand, with good light scattering, it can provide good covering property, partially replacing expensive titanium dioxide, and reduce coating cost. On the other hand, with high whiteness, high dispersibility, and stronger chemical inertness, it can adjust coating's gloss, and improve coating system's storage stability, pigment's anti-floating color, and coating's weather resistance, acid resistance, and alkali resistance. In particular, it is essential to prepare low-VOC and high solid content coating

2. It replaces titanium dioxide partially and improves the usage result of titanium dioxide in paper coating applications and enhance the brightness, glossiness,smoothness, opacity and improve the ink absorption ability, printing adaptability and printing gloss of paper.General used in coated paper, art paper, coated manila, newspapers, thermal paper, etc
