Product Description

OPE WAX (oxidized polyethylene wax) is a functional wax obtained through the oxidation modification of polyethylene. It possesses both non-polar hydrocarbon chain structure and polar groups (such as carboxyl groups), significantly enhancing its compatibility and dispersibility in polar systems (such as PVC, water-based coatings).

Applications

 

Application 

PVC Processing:

As an internal/external lubricant, it reduces melt adhesion and improves the surface finish of pipes/profiles. Addition rate: 0.5-1.5%.

It can extend the plasticization time and reduce torque, and is compatible with lead/zinc stabilizer systems.


Coatings and Inks:

Enhances scratch resistance of paint films (e.g., wood coatings) and print smoothness, with an addition rate of 0.5-1.5%.

Micro-wax maintains gloss without loss.


Textiles and Packaging:

Used after emulsification for fabric softening, moisture-proof coatings on cardboard, and anti-adhesion in fruit packaging films.

FDA-certified, suitable for food contact materials.


Specialized Applications:

Automotive wax polish, glass fiber adhesives, and anti-settling agents in agricultural sprays.
